Thank you to everyone who supported this year’s fair, either by helping out, booking stalls or activities or just by attending and having a great time.
We are pleased confirm that we made a profit of £1942.93 with £1650 of this being donated back to the contributing groups, and the remainder being saved for reinvestment into the 2020 fair. More information can be provided upon request.
Some call outs are below for the following groups who supported us this year and made this a real community event:
- A Dogs Life Dog Daycare who ran the Fun Dog Show
- The Framingham Bell Ringers for ringing in the start of the fair from Waltham Church
- The Friends of Waltham Primary School (FOWs) who supplied cakes and stall volunteers
- KidzCo Mobile Children’s Disco – for providing the first aid cover and use of the PA system
- Melton Foxes Football Club for organising the Beat The Goalie attraction
- Melton and District Model Club for demonstrating their models and providing the slot car entertainment
- Performing Stars for their fantastic entertainment throughout the afternoon
- Waltham Church for volunteers
- Waltham and Thorpe Arnold Parish Council for the use of the playing fields
- Waltham Pre-school who supplied stall volunteers
- Waltham Primary School who put on a great show demonstrating some Maypole, country and other dancing routines and supplied stall volunteers
- The Waltham Scottish Dancers for their demonstrations and Have A Go sessions
- The Waltham Village Hall Committee who provided us the use of the hall and grounds for the Fair and ran the cocktail bar
- The Woman’s Institute (WI) who supplied volunteers and cakes for the Tea & Cakes
- And all the local businesses and stallholders who provided such great stalls and raffle prizes:
